Since 2016, a pilot project has been carried out in this Kuyawage by an education project team SIL initiated by the Indonesian government. Education focuses on multilingual education. Children learn to read and write in their own tribal language and in Indonesian. The Kuyawage Papua Remote School Project supports the executive education project team by acquiring teaching materials and teaching materials.
